The Lawrence School, Sanawar Celebrated Independence Day With Immense Pride, Patriotism And The Unmistakable Spirit Of Togetherness That Defines The Sanawar Community.
The Celebrations Began With A Stirring Tiranga March, Led By The Head Boy And Head Girl To Peace Stead, Followed By A Solemn Wreath-laying Ceremony—a Heartfelt Tribute To The Sacrifices That Made Our Freedom Possible. The Headmaster Then Hoisted The National Flag, As The Brass Band Led The School In The National Anthem, Followed By A Spectacular Release Of Tricolour Balloons That Filled The Sky With The Colours Of Our Nation.
The Celebrations Continued At Barne Hall With Vibrant Cultural Performances, Including A Stirring Rendition Of “Vande Mataram” By The School Choir. Inspiring Addresses By The Headmaster, Head Boy And Head Girl Reflected On The Meaning Of Freedom And The Responsibilities That Come With It, Reminding Us Of Our Shared Role In Nation-building.
A Community Lunch Served By The Senior Students Brought Everyone Together In A Warm Celebration Of Unity, Fraternity And Service—values That Lie At The Heart Of Sanawar.

A Variety Of Games And Recreational Activities Were Organised For The Sanawar Community, Bringing Students, Staff And Members Of The Community Together In An Atmosphere Of Laughter, Camaraderie And Joyful Participation. The Sporting Highlights Included An Exciting Soccer Match Between The School Team And The Support Staff, Played At The Barne Field, Adding To The Wonderful Spirit Of Fellowship And Friendly Competition.
