Some Glimpses Of Our Students Exuberantly Taking Part In The Hodson’s Run. The Hodson Run Was Instituted By Major, The Reverend G.D. Barne, 4th Principal Of Sanawar In 1916 In The Memory Of Brevet Major William Stephen Raikes Hodson. The Long Distance Race Was Named After Him As He Was An Excellent Long Distance Runner. He Finds A Mention In The School Song Too. He Is Also Remembered In The Indian Army By The Cavalry Regiment He Raised Named The Hodson Horse Currently Known As The 4th Horse Regiment Of The Indian Army. The Regiment Most Graciously Provides Cups For The Winners & Runners-up Every Year.
This Annual Sporting Event Serves To Build Character, Confidence And Resilience. It Is A Testament To Our School Motto — Never Give In??!
